Registration new customers: Accept terms and conditions
New customers could already register themselves as customers with you. From now on, you can add a website link that lets them agree to your terms and conditions when they register.
Sort order of signed-off destinations in Drivers App
You can now decide the sort order in which signed-off destinations appear in the Drivers App. It is now possible for the signed-off destinations to appear at the bottom. For orders with many destinations, this means the driver does not have to keep scrolling down. The next destination will always be at the top.
Volume weight at rate type weight
For the ‘Weight’ rate type, it is now also possible to enter a volume weight. The volume weight is the volume of a parcel, converted to weight. The volume weight is determined by dividing the volume in cm by the set factor (usually 5000). If the volume weight is heavier than the actual weight, the heavier of the two is taken.
Truck-icon in Customer Portal
When the driver signed off the first destination via the Drivers App, a * always appeared in front of the destination. We have now added the ‘truck-icon’ to this in the Customer Portal. The icon appears behind the order number in the order overview. In the planning order overview, this icon was already active.
Courier Exchange
When documents and/or photos are added via CX , they are now also automatically added in the order in EasyTrans Software. The documents and photos are only added if you have activated the additional module Document Storage in EasyTrans.
UPS
In the connection with UPS, the following is new or improved:
- Works with the new UPS API
- Request and compare rates for different UPS services, including expected delivery date
- Adjustable sales margin per customer
- Shipping label as PDF, instead of GIF in order confirmation e-mail
- Cut-off time for pickup today adjustable per customer
- Electronic upload of customs documents (Paperless Documents)
- Automatic status updates and sign-off of orders
SDCN
We have built a new API integration, which also allows you to receive POD info back into EasyTrans.
